Tower of Fantasy Update: New Features, Events, and Compensation

The latest update for Tower of Fantasy is now live, bringing a plethora of new features, events, and exciting content to the game. Players who reached level 6 before the update will receive 500 dark crystals as server shutdown compensation and 200 dark crystals as client update compensation, which will be sent to their mailboxes within 2 hours of the maintenance update completion.

This update introduces a range of new gameplay features, including the New Network’s World – Central District, a new World Boss – Ground Controller, and a new Main Story – Behind the Neon Lights. Additionally, players can look forward to new Simulacrum, Nola, and a new Simulacrum Dorm Feature. The update also brings new events, including the Seaside Summer Bash and Cool Coastline, which will run from August 6 to September 19.

1. Server shutdown compensation: 500 dark crystals
Client update compensation: 200 dark crystals

The city lights are shining as brilliantly as ever, but hidden under the mask of prosperity, dark plots gradually surface. I realize that we’re caught in a mess: the Public Security, the Federation Nexus, and other troubles come one after another… What exactly is recorded in the files we got from Aurora Industries? As I delve deeper into the foundational layer, I discover a strange truth, something that goes against everyone’s understanding… The Gesthos Network World… Is it virtual?.. Or is it the reality?..
4. New Simulacrum
Limited Simulacrum, Nola, and a limited weapon, Rumble, are coming soon.
5. New Simulacrum Dorm Feature

7. The first Simulacrum Synesthesia – Lin will be available in the middle of the version.

8. Other new/updated content
1) New Frontier Clash season will start soon.
2) Bygone Phantasm Boundless Realm Lv. 62 will be activated.
3) Sequential Phantasm Boundless Realm Lv. 14 will be activated. Altered Damage Lv. 5 will be activated.
4) Difficulty of limited-time Raid will be reduced.
5) A new Lv. 95 boss: Gaia will be added to Evolution Vanguard.
6) Personal Card feature will be improved and will now support settings customization.
7) The exchange limits of booster modules and advancement modules using Crystal Dust will be adjusted.
8) In the version sign-in event, “Gesthos Battle Box” will be introduced. Upon opening the box, you will obtain fortress equipment with completely fixed sub-stats.
9) Daily gameplay will be decreased and some gameplay will be optimized or removed:
a. Energy Crystal Dust (Blue) and Energy Crystal Dust (Purple) will be replaced by Energy Crystal Dust (Orange) at a fixed ratio. All items originally obtainable using Energy Crystal Dust (Blue) and Energy Crystal Dust (Purple) will now be obtainable using Energy Crystal Dust (Orange).
b. Classic Mode of the Joint Operation gameplay will be removed and Balanced Mode will be fully optimized.
c. Wormhole gameplay will be removed.
d. The rewards for Normal and Hard modes of Frontier Clash will be combined into the daily first-clear reward for the Balanced mode of Joint Operation.
e. Rift Difficulty of Void Rift gameplay will be removed.
f. The difficulty levels of each type of Dimensional Trials is combined into one difficulty level.
10) The chat channel will now support Arabic.
※Known issue: There may be display issues when mixing Arabic with other languages and numbers. We will continue working on this issue.

Event Introduction:
This event has been extended and will end on September 19. After finishing the relevant missions, you will obtain Sunshower outfit shards, and Neon Dot Fluff hairstyle shards. Collect the required number of shards and fuse them to create the items.

22. Main Content Update
1) Liu Huo’s Pine Comet will be added to the Special Order Choice Weapons.
2) After the V4.2 update, the Coaster vehicle will be available permanently at the price of 1,280 tanium in the Store under HOT.
3) Part of The Gesthos Network World: Astra interface will now display outstanding UGC entries from the ToF 2nd Anniversary Creation Collection Event.
4) The Store will introduce a new Limited Gift Pack: the 2nd Anniversary Tanium Direct Order Gift Pack. For more details, please check in the in-game Store after the update. Please note that the tanium obtained from the Direct Order Gift Pack is not considered a purchase, so it does not qualify for additional purchase rebates and will not count towards the cumulative Purchase Gift.
