Tower of Fantasy Update: New Gameplay, Features, and Events Coming August 6

Get ready for a massive update in Tower of Fantasy, as the game’s developers have announced a slew of new content, features, and events coming to the game on **August 6**. The update, which will require server maintenance from 04:00-09:00 (UTC+0), promises to bring exciting new gameplay modes, characters, and activities to the game.

Players can look forward to new gameplay modes such as Central District, Ground Controller, and Behind the Neon Lights, as well as the introduction of new Simulacrum **Nola** and limited weapon Rumble. The update will also bring new features like Beach Volleyball and Simulacrum Dorm, as well as various optimizations and removals of certain gameplay modes.

But that’s not all – the update will also kick off several new events, including the Seaside Summer Bash, Cool Coastline, and Splendid Residence, which will run from **August 6** to **September 19**. Players will also receive a 2nd Anniversary Gift from **August 11** to **September 19**. With so much new content on the horizon, players are advised to check the game’s online info for more details and to prepare for the update by logging out of the game 15 minutes before the scheduled maintenance time.

Thank you for supporting Tower of Fantasy! We will be carrying out a resource update and server maintenance to bring you a better gaming experience. V4.2 Cool Coastline will be available following the update.
You will not be able to enter the game during the maintenance period. Sorry for the inconvenience.
The update plan and compensation are as follows:

August 6, 04:00–09:00 (UTC+0) (Server opening time may be delayed or brought forward based on maintenance situation.)
※Note: After this update, some content will be adjusted, and weekly activity rewards and tasks will be reset.

◤Update Method◤
● Resource Update: After the server is shut down, you can complete the game update in advance so that you can experience the new version as soon as the server is back up. We also recommend to update the game when your device is connected to WiFi. Below are the detailed update methods.
◆ PC:
1. After the server is shut down, please manually exit the client and restart it. Then update the login system.
2. Please tap Update on the login system. After the update resources start downloading, you can minimize the window. The update will continue in the background until it is completed.
Note: The login system of the PC version has been upgraded. If a login error occurs after the version update, please restart the login system, log out of your account, and log back in. If the issue persists, please contact Customer Service.
◆ Android & iOS:
1. The game package needs to be changed in this version. After the server is shut down, please download the new app version in the application store of your device.
2. After launching the game and starting the download of the update resources, you can let the game run in the background. The update will continue in the background until it is completed.
● Server shutdown: We recommend you to prepare to log out of the game 15 minutes before the update. Please do not make any purchases in the 5 minutes before the server shutdown to avoid game experience and account asset losses.

◤ Compensation ◢
1. Server shutdown compensation: 500 dark crystals
Client update compensation: 200 dark crystals
– Compensation Eligibility: Players who have reached level 6 before the update.
– We will send the above compensation to your Mailbox within 2 hours of the maintenance update completion. Please check your Mailbox.

4. New Simulacrum
Limited Simulacrum, Nola, and a limited weapon, Rumble, are coming soon.

7. The first Simulacrum Synesthesia – Lin will be available in the middle of the version.

8. Other new/updated content
1) New Frontier Clash season will start soon.
2) Bygone Phantasm Boundless Realm Lv. 62 will be activated.
3) Sequential Phantasm Boundless Realm Lv. 14 will be activated. Altered Damage Lv. 5 will be activated.
4) Difficulty of limited-time Raid will be reduced.
5) A new Lv. 95 boss: Gaia will be added to Evolution Vanguard.
6) Personal Card feature will be improved and will now support settings customization.
7) The exchange limits of booster modules and advancement modules using Crystal Dust will be adjusted.
8) In the version sign-in event, “Gesthos Battle Box” will be introduced. Upon opening the box, you will obtain fortress equipment with completely fixed sub-stats.
9) Daily gameplay will be decreased and some gameplay will be optimized or removed:
a. Energy Crystal Dust (Blue) and Energy Crystal Dust (Purple) will be replaced by Energy Crystal Dust (Orange) at a fixed ratio. All items originally obtainable using Energy Crystal Dust (Blue) and Energy Crystal Dust (Purple) will now be obtainable using Energy Crystal Dust (Orange).
b. Classic Mode of the Joint Operation gameplay will be removed and Balanced Mode will be fully optimized.
c. Wormhole gameplay will be removed.
d. The rewards for Normal and Hard modes of Frontier Clash will be combined into the daily first-clear reward for the Balanced mode of Joint Operation.
e. Rift Difficulty of Void Rift gameplay will be removed.
f. The difficulty levels of each type of Dimensional Trials is combined into one difficulty level.
10) The chat channel will now support Arabic.
※Known issue: There may be display issues when mixing Arabic with other languages and numbers. We will continue working on this issue.

Event Introduction:
This event has been extended and will end on September 19. After finishing the relevant missions, you will obtain Sunshower outfit shards, and Neon Dot Fluff hairstyle shards. Collect the required number of shards and fuse them to create the items.

22. Main Content Update
1) Liu Huo’s Pine Comet will be added to the Special Order Choice Weapons.
2) After the V4.2 update, the Coaster vehicle will be available permanently at the price of 1,280 tanium in the Store under HOT.
3) Part of The Gesthos Network World: Astra interface will now display outstanding UGC entries from the ToF 2nd Anniversary Creation Collection Event.
4) The Store will introduce a new Limited Gift Pack: the 2nd Anniversary Tanium Direct Order Gift Pack. For more details, please check in the in-game Store after the update. Please note that the tanium obtained from the Direct Order Gift Pack is not considered a purchase, so it does not qualify for additional purchase rebates and will not count towards the cumulative Purchase Gift.
