Blue Archive June 9 Maintenance: Banners Ending, Rewards
Blue Archive’s June 9 maintenance ends Rio and Himari (Armed) recruitments and free pulls. Prepare for the upcoming Fest banner changes.
Blue Archive is scheduled for a regular maintenance window on June 9, 2025, from 2:00 AM to 5:00 AM (UTC). The downtime marks the end of several limited-time banners and events, giving players a final window to spend currency and claim rewards. For ongoing coverage of the game, including banner schedules and tier lists, bookmark the Blue Archive news hub.
This maintenance also delivers Pyroxene x360 as compensation once the servers are back online. Here is everything ending with this patch and what to prioritize before the clock runs out.
At a Glance
- Maintenance: June 9, 2:00 – 5:00 AM (UTC). No access during this period.
- Compensation: Pyroxene x360 (distributed after maintenance).
- Ending Immediately (June 9): Rio (Armed) and Himari (Armed) pick-up recruitments, 100-Free Recruitment event, Operational Plan: Steel Continent special task.
- Ending Later (June 16, 2:00 AM UTC): Fest Recruitment featuring Kei, Aris (Armed), Hoshino (Armed), and Shiroko*Terror.
Banners Ending June 9
Two concurrent pick-up banners are closing with the June 9 maintenance:
- Rio (Armed)
- Himari (Armed)
All Recruitment Points associated with these banners will be reset to zero at maintenance start. If you are close to pity on either banner, this is your last chance to pull or let the currency carry over—though the points do not transfer to future banners.
Should You Pull?
Both Rio (Armed) and Himari (Armed) are limited units that may not rerun for several months. If you have a dedicated physical or special DPS team, Rio’s kit provides strong single-target damage. Himari, on the other hand, excels in support roles with crit buffs. For F2P players, it may be wiser to save for the upcoming Fest recruitment (see below) unless you are specifically building for endgame content that demands their niches.
100-Free Recruitment Event Ends
The 100-Free Recruitment event period ends with the same maintenance. All unused free single pulls will disappear after the server goes down. Players who have not claimed their free daily recruitment should do so before the deadline. Note that the free pulls are separate from standard recruitment currency and do not accumulate across patches.
Operational Plan: Steel Continent – Task Period Ends
Players who have been working on the Operational Plan: Steel Continent event story completion tasks should finish them before maintenance. The special tasks associated with the My Office feature are also closing. Any unclaimed rewards from this event will be lost after June 9.
Fest Recruitment Ending June 16
A separate set of banners is ending on June 16, 2025, at 2:00 AM (UTC). This Fest Recruitment includes the following characters:
- Kei
- Aris (Armed)
- Hoshino (Armed)
- Shiroko*Terror
These are typically high-value limited units with boosted rates. Recruitment Points for these banners also reset at the end of the Fest period. If you are considering pulling on the Rio/Himari banners, weigh the value of these Fest units, which often define the meta for several patches.
Pre-Patch To-Do List
To avoid losing progress or rewards:
- Spend all 100-Free Recruitment single pulls before maintenance.
- Complete Operational Plan: Steel Continent tasks and claim all My Office rewards.
- Decide on Rio/Himari pulls; their banners close June 9.
- If you are saving for Fest units, ensure you have enough Pyroxene banked for the June 16 deadline.
Day 1 After Maintenance
Once the servers are live, claim your Pyroxene x360 from the in-game mail. No new content is confirmed for this maintenance patch beyond the closures, but further details may be announced post-maintenance. Keep an eye on official channels for future update notes.
