Blue Archive Unsolved Mystery Packs: What to Know
The Blue Archive shop introduces five new Unsolved Mystery packs for a limited time. Here’s what’s inside and whether they’re worth your Pyroxene.
Blue Archive is rolling out a new batch of limited-time shop packs under the Unsolved Mystery label, arriving after maintenance on 2024-07-21. These five products — two currency packs and three skill growth packs — give players a condensed way to stock up on key resources, but the real question is whether they justify spending premium currency.

Unsolved Mystery Currency Packs
Activity Report Pack
This pack bundles 784 Pyroxene (sold as 800 paid equivalent, with 16 bonus) along with a hefty amount of Activity Reports. Total report count: 500 Novice, 250 Normal, 175 Advanced, 75 Superior. That’s enough to level several students from scratch. For comparison, purchasing Activity Reports individually from the usual shop can cost much more stamina or Pyroxene over time. If you are building multiple new students for upcoming events or the current meta, this pack offers solid efficiency. Three purchases are allowed per account, so plan accordingly.
Credit Pack
Credits are the universal bottleneck in Blue Archive — many players always need more. This pack gives 20 million Credits plus 784 Pyroxene. With a limit of 5 purchases, you can grab up to 100 million Credits. If you are low on Credits after heavy leveling or skill upgrades, this pack addresses that pain point directly. However, if you rarely run out of Credits, the value diminishes.
Unsolved Mystery Skill Growth Packs
These three packs are tied to specific school academies: Valkyrie, Wildhunt, and Millennium. Each costs 400 Pyroxene (bonus only, no paid Pyroxene component, effectively the same as buying the 400 paid gem pack). They include a full suite of Tech Notes, Tactical Training Blu-rays, and materials (e.g., Wolfsegg Ore, Nebra Sky Disc pieces, Roman Dodecahedrons, etc.) specific to that academy.
Because skill materials are gated by weekly Bounties and drops, these packs are a time-saver if you are focusing on students from those schools. For example, if you are raising a Millennium student like Hibiki or Noa, the Millennium Skill Growth Pack will supply enough materials for several skill upgrades.
One important point: since the packs only contain materials for one academy, they are most valuable for players who are actively building a team concentrated in that school. If your roster is spread out, you might get less benefit from a single pack.
Should You Buy?
For F2P and light spenders: The Currency Packs (Activity Report and Credit) often offer better overall resource value because they give Pyroxene back plus a large bulk resource. The Skill Growth Packs sacrifice the Pyroxene-for-gems trade (you still get 400 Pyroxene, but it’s all “bonus” and effectively the same as a direct Pyroxene purchase). If you are saving for a specific student banner, skipping these packs to keep your Pyroxene is wise.
For dolphins and moderate spenders: If you have a specific academy team you are building, the Skill Growth Packs can save weeks of farming. The Currency Packs are also good for quick resupply, especially the Credit Pack if you are running low.
For whales: All packs are limited in quantity, so if you plan to max out multiple students, these are efficient time-savers. The purchase limits (3–5 per account) mean the total investment is capped, so pull the trigger if you need the materials.
Pre-Patch To-Do: What to Finish Before July 21
Before the maintenance, ensure you have used any expiring shop items or event currency. The new packs will be added to the Special Sale tab under Buy Pyroxene. Also, note that purchases are sent to your mailbox — you may need to return to the lobby to retrieve them if they don’t appear immediately.
Day-1 Priorities
After the 2024-07-21 maintenance, open the shop and browse the Unsolved Mystery packs. Decide quickly which ones fit your current resource needs. The Skill Growth Packs are especially useful if you are preparing for a specific event or raid that requires a certain academy’s skills.
Conclusion
The Unsolved Mystery packs offer a focused bundle of resources for a limited window. While the Activity Report and Credit packs are generally useful for most players, the academy-specific Skill Growth Packs cater to those with specific roster needs. Given the month-long sale, you have time to assess your shortage areas before committing.
