Frostfairy Flower locations in Genshin Impact

Frostfairy Flower is a Snezhnayan local specialty introduced in Genshin Impact version 7.0. It is currently used as an Ascension material for Odette, a 5-Star Cryo character, and may be required for future characters. This guide covers all known locations, a one-time chest, and farming tips to help you collect the 168 flowers needed for max Ascension.

Frostfairy Flower locations

Flowers appear in groups, making farming efficient. Use Teleport Waypoints to reduce travel time.

Snezhnograd

37 Frostfairy Flowers are found in Snezhnograd, north of Central Station. Most are in large flowerbeds, but five are on a rooftop near the Adventurers' Guild.

Sanctuary of Grief

14 Frostfairy Flowers are located just outside the northern tip of Snezhnograd.

Everfrozen Earth and Fellfrost Peak

11 Frostfairy Flowers are scattered south of Snezhnograd:
– 3 near Fellfrost Peak (underground via Tidesong Cavern)
– 3 in a trench southeast of Central Station
– 5 outside a shack southwest of Central Station

Pilgrimage of the Sacred Gorge

12 Frostfairy Flowers require completing three quest chains to unlock the White Birch Snowgrave area:
1. Hesperides of Love and Hate
2. In the Dwelling of Life
3. On One Side a Palace

The area becomes explorable during the 'On One Side a Palace' quest.

Frostfairy Flower chest location

A one-time chest between Jack Frost Village and Svetloledovka contains 9 Frostfairy Flowers. Defeat the surrounding enemies to unlock it. This chest does not respawn.

What are Frostfairy Flowers used for?

Currently, only Odette requires Frostfairy Flowers (168 for full Ascension). With 74 flowers in the overworld, you need at least three farming cycles (each 2-day respawn) to gather enough. The one-time chest provides a small boost.
