Honkai Star Rail Gilgamesh Materials, Kit & Eidolons Guide
Prepare for the Fate crossover in HSR 4.4 with Gilgamesh’s leaked materials, kit details, and Eidolon effects. Updated with beta info.
Gilgamesh, the King of Heroes from Fate/stay night, is expected to arrive in Honkai: Star Rail during version 4.4 as a limited-time crossover character. Based on reliable leaks, he is a 5-Star Lightning unit on The Destruction path, bringing a unique playstyle centered around building "Interest" stacks to unleash devastating follow-up attacks. If you're planning to pull for him, we've compiled everything you need to know — from materials to kit — based on the latest beta data.
Keep in mind: all information below is sourced from datamining and beta clients. Abilities, numbers, and material requirements may change before the official release on 2026-07-24. Bookmark this page — we'll update it once HoYoverse confirms the final details.

Gilgamesh at a Glance
- Rarity: 5-Star
- Element: Lightning
- Path: The Destruction
- Release: Version 4.4, Phase 1 (2026-07-24, likely following server reset)
- Banner Type: Limited-time crossover banner (does not share pity with standard limited banners)
Should You Pull?
Gilgamesh seems to be a high-investment hypercarry with strong AoE and single-target damage, thanks to his Talent "Amuse Me to the Fullest" and the joint follow-up attack with Saber (if she is also on the field). His kit encourages a team that ults frequently to fuel "Interest" stacks and trigger joint attacks. That said, his complexity — managing Interest stacks, Energy regeneration, and the 10-point threshold — may not appeal to every player.
- For meta chasers: If the joint follow-up mechanic is as strong as it looks (200% of Gilgamesh's ATK + 300% of Saber's ATK to all enemies), he could be a top-tier DPS, especially at E1 or E2.
- For collectors: As a Fate crossover exclusive, Gilgamesh won't rerun often. If you want him, this is the only window for the foreseeable future.
- For F2P/low-spend: His value depends heavily on Saber's performance. If you don't also pull Saber, you lose half of the joint attack's damage. Consider this before committing resources.
Gilgamesh Leaked Kit
All numbers are from honeyhunterworld and are subject to change.
Basic Attack: Halfhearted Blow
Deals 50% ATK Lightning damage to a single enemy.
Skill: Gate of Babylon
Grants "King's Acknowledgement" for 3 turns, ignoring 15% of the target's DEF. Deals 140% ATK Lightning damage to a single enemy and 70% ATK to adjacent targets.
Ultimate: Enuma Elish
Deals 200% ATK Lightning damage to all enemies, then deals 10 instances of damage (each 50% ATK) to random enemies.
Talent (Enhance): Amuse Me to the Fullest
When an ally uses their Ultimate, Gilgamesh gains "King's Burden" — 20% Ultimate damage for 3 turns. At the start of his turn, he automatically uses his Basic Attack. When another ally acts, he gains 1 "Interest" stack (+10% SPD per stack). At 10 Interest stacks, he enters "Interest Piqued!" state, locks into his Skill, and resets Interest.
Talent (AoE): I Grant You Permission To Strike
Unconfirmed — requires Saber on the team.
When Gilgamesh or Saber attacks, they accumulate 1 attack tally. At 8 tallies, they launch a Joint Follow-Up Attack: deals 200% ATK Lightning damage (Gilgamesh) and 300% ATK Wind damage (Saber) to all enemies. Afterward, Gilgamesh gains 3 Interest stacks, Saber regenerates 120 Energy and her next Ultimate deals 120% more damage. Tally resets.
Technique: Enkidu
Creates a 10-second Special Dimension. Enemies inside enter "King's Permission" — stop all actions. Attacking an enemy in the dimension pulls all enemies into combat and deals 200% ATK Lightning damage to all enemies after entering. Gilgamesh immediately gains 3 Interest stacks.
Bonus Traces
- Epic's Opening: Using Ultimate grants 2 Interest; ally Ultimates grant 2 Interest and 30% Energy refund.
- Hero's Hauteur: Each Interest stack gives 25% CRIT DMG (max 6 stacks = 150% CRIT DMG).
- Hegemon's Strife: While on field, all allies gain 20% ATK and 20% CRIT DMG. Allies with Max Energy above 140 get an additional 1% per excess point (up to 100%).

Gilgamesh Trace Materials
Upgrading all Traces requires a hefty amount of weekly boss drops from the new Echo of War (likely "Guardian's Lament") and new materials like Omnicolor Fool's Own.

Gilgamesh Eidolons
Unconfirmed — based on beta leaks.
- E1 (He Who Saw the Deep): "King's Acknowledgement" DEF ignore applies to all teammates, +60% ATK for Gilgamesh, and 40 Energy refund on Skill use.
- E2 (Wisdom That Encompassed All): Start combat with 5 Interest stacks, +5 stacks on Ultimate. Skill damage multiplier increased by 100% to primary target, 50% to adjacent.
- E3 (Journey That Spanned Far): Skill +2 levels, Basic ATK +1 level.
- E4 (King Who Bowed to None): +20% Energy Regen.
- E5 (Sword That Parted Gods from Man): Ultimate & Talent +2 levels.
- E6 (Soul That Bore Friendship): Ultimate bounce damage +80%. All allies gain 20% All-Type Res Pen. When a teammate ults, Gilgamesh gains "Golden Rule" stack (max 3). Using Ultimate consumes all stacks, each giving +100% CRIT DMG to the Ultimate.
At E6, Gilgamesh becomes a monster — especially with the Res Pen and massive CRIT DMG boost. E2 is a significant power spike for Skill damage and early Interest generation.
Conclusion
Gilgamesh looks to be a powerful, synergy-heavy DPS whose true potential likely relies on having Saber on the team. With the crossover banner running for an extended period, you'll have plenty of time to save up resources and roll for both characters. Start farming Thunder Strum and Squirming Core now if you're planning to max him out on day one.
