NIKKE Patch Notes: Altruia Fixes & QoL Updates

NIKKE’s latest patch fixes Altruia’s skill descriptions, improves Solo Raid, and adds quality-of-life changes. Here’s what Commanders need to know.

NIKKE Patch Notes: Altruia Fixes & QoL Updates

Goddess of Victory: NIKKE has rolled out a new update focused on bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements. While there are no new banners or events, the patch addresses several long-standing issues and makes subtle adjustments that impact daily gameplay. For Commanders looking to stay on top of the latest NIKKE news, here's a breakdown of what's changed.

At a Glance

  • Altruia skill descriptions corrected to match actual behavior; no change to effects.
  • iOS 13 minimum requirement now enforced due to Apple policy changes.
  • Solo Raid Battle Simulation available for all difficulties from day one.
  • Campaign Chapter 47 Normal and Hard stages slightly easier.
  • Favorite Item settings now per-Nikke and device-independent.
  • Numerous bug fixes for graphics, UI, and audio.

Battle Fixes: Altruia Clarity

Two of Altruia's skills had descriptions that didn't match their actual effects. The first, Holy Breath, now correctly notes that it pierces cover. The second, Strongest Shield on the Surface, now specifies that Saintess's Halos grant increased ATK in addition to invulnerability. Importantly, the actual skill effects remain unchanged—this is purely a text correction to help players better understand her kit.

Quality-of-Life & System Improvements

Solo Raid

Battle Simulation for all difficulties can now be played in advance from the first day of the Solo Raid. This allows Commanders to test team compositions and strategies without waiting for later difficulties to unlock. Additionally, when giving up a battle, the Squad deployed is now displayed (Squad 1 for the selected difficulty).

Campaign Chapter 47

The difficulty of certain Normal and Hard stages in Chapter 47 has been slightly reduced by adjusting the spawn timing and rarity of Raptures. This should make progression a bit smoother for players pushing through the story.

Favorite Item Settings

The Info Display and Favorite Item Wallpaper settings in the details screen for Nikkes equipped with a Favorite Item have been improved. Settings can now be configured individually for each Nikke and will remain unchanged even when switching devices.

Graphics & UI Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where resource download progress displayed as a negative number.
  • Fixed an issue where, with Texture Quality set to Basic, images for the Story Event FOR REST were displayed incorrectly in Recollection – Archives.
  • Fixed an issue where profiles using the GOOD WORLD Special Background and Sticker were not displayed with Basic Texture Quality.
  • Fixed an issue where the red dot on Lobby buttons occasionally appeared incorrectly.
  • Improved Message loading performance.
  • Improved occasional delays in the Arcade mini game IN THE MIRROR.
  • Fixed an issue where some stages in the Arcade mini game MOG E.X. could not be accessed with Basic Texture Quality.

Battle & Animation Fixes

  • Improved Sugar's shooting animation to play more naturally at high attack speeds (no performance change).
  • Fixed an issue where certain Raptures (Sphere, Tears, Elite Tears, Tiara, Elite Tiara) could not be defeated under certain conditions.
  • Fixed an issue where the crosshair for ally units could not be seen when a player died during a Coordinated Operation battle.
  • Fixed an issue where the interaction UI was displayed for Squads not selected in certain Lost Sectors.
  • Fixed an issue where titles in the Champion Arena Ranking List were displayed incorrectly.

Audio & Localization

  • Fixed Red Hood's Burst Skill Red Wolf SFX playing differently than intended when manually firing.
  • Fixed Vesti: Tactical Upgrade charge SFX playing twice.
  • Adjusted Trony's standing motion in the simple skill cutscene.
  • Adjusted voice playback interval for squad movement in the Field to reduce repetition.
  • Fixed character animations briefly appearing unnatural after phase transitions in battles against Annihilio in Campaign stages.
  • Fixed Modernia – Second Affection's shooting pose after reloading in the Arena.
  • Adjusted Mana's "Angry" expression.
  • Renamed "Bottom UI Transparency" to "Bottom UI Opacity" under Settings – Battle.
  • Fixed some language localization issues.

  • Fixed Nayuta's "Empty" expression displaying incorrectly.

Pre-Patch To-Dos

Before the update, consider finishing any Campaign stages in Chapter 47 that you've been struggling with—the difficulty reduction will make them easier after the patch. Also, if you're on an iOS device older than iOS 13, you'll need to update your OS to continue playing.

Day-1 Priorities

After updating, check your Favorite Item settings to ensure they carried over correctly. If you're participating in Solo Raid, take advantage of the new Battle Simulation feature to plan your teams. Also, verify that your graphics settings (especially Texture Quality) are set as desired, as some fixes address display issues under Basic Quality.

Conclusion

This NIKKE patch is a solid maintenance update that addresses player feedback and polishes the experience. While it lacks new content, the quality-of-life changes—particularly for Solo Raid and Favorite Items—are welcome improvements. Stay tuned to EarlyGG for more NIKKE coverage.
