Nova's Kit
Nova’s abilities revolve around a Territory mechanic that grants allies an Assist Skill, allowing them to command a Starblazer for extra Fire damage and energy regeneration. Her kit includes two Ultimate modes: an AoE blast and a multi-hit single-target attack that consumes stacks of Source Energy. Key highlights:
- Skill: Regains all Assist Skill uses and grants Navigator's Semaphore (team damage buff + extra Assist Skill use each turn).
- Talent: Deploys Starblazer Visioscape, granting all allies one Assist Skill use. Nova gains All-Type Res Pen, Crit DMG, and the ability to ignore Weakness Types for Toughness reduction.
- Ultimate: Two variants — Hyperluminal Particle Beam (AoE Fire DMG) and Orbital Annihilation Pulse (consumes Source Energy for multi-hit attacks).
- Technique: Increases max Technique Points by 3 and pre-uses Skill at wave start, instantly defeating normal enemies.
Bonus Traces further enhance her Assist Skill efficiency, energy regeneration, and provide extra turns for allies — notably extending the benefit to any Trailblaze Companions character. This makes Nova a flexible support for fast-clearing teams.

Nova Eidolons
Getting duplicate copies of Nova unlocks powerful upgrades to her Assist Skill and Ultimate mechanics. Her E1 enhances trait bonuses, while E2 increases Assist Skill max uses and raises damage multipliers significantly. E6 caps Source Energy at 6 stacks and adds massive AoE damage to her multi-hit Ultimate.
- E1: Extra Assist Skill triggers; reduced Ultimate uses needed for Assist Skill; extra damage instances.
- E2: +1 Assist Skill max use; 130% damage to Ultimate and Assist Skill; extends extra turn to non-Trailblaze Companions.
- E3/E5: Raise Ultimate and Skill/Talent levels.
- E4: Applies All-Type Res Pen to all allies; Nova gains additional 10% Res Pen.
- E6: +20% Fire Res Pen; max Source Energy raised to 6; Assist Skill DMG +75%; extra AoE on Orbital Annihilation Pulse.
Should You Pull for Nova?
Given her unique Assist Skill team support and strong Fire coverage, Nova looks to be a valuable addition for accounts lacking a premium Fire DPS. Her ability to ignore Weakness Types for Breaking makes her flexible in endgame modes like Memory of Chaos and Pure Fiction. F2P players may want to secure her base copy, while meta-focused players can consider E2 or E6 for maximum team utility.
