Banner Details and Pull Strategy
Both Billy (Starlight) and Orphie & Magus are available in their respective character event warps. Alongside them, the signature W-Engines appear in the weapon banner. As with all limited-time banners, the standard pity system applies: 90 pulls max for an S-Rank character (hard pity), 80 for an S-Rank W-Engine. The 50/50 system remains for characters, while weapons have a 75/25 rate.
Exact end dates have not been provided by the official channels, but based on past schedules, these banners are expected to run for approximately three weeks. Confirm the countdown within the game to plan your pulls.
Should You Pull for Billy?
Billy is a Physical Rupture agent, which means he excels at building up the Rupture status to trigger powerful physical damage reactions. For teams lacking a dedicated Rupture applicator, Billy brings strong single-target damage and utility. F2P and low-spend players can consider pulling if they need a Physical enabler, but note that alternative A-Rank Rupture agents exist. If you already have a well-invested Physical team, Billy may be an upgrade depending on your current roster.
Should You Pull for Orphie & Magus?
Orphie & Magus is a Fire Attack agent, designed to output high burst and sustained damage with fire elemental attacks. Fire attack characters are valuable for content weak to fire, like certain bosses and Shiyu Defense stages. If you lack a premier fire damage dealer, Orphie & Magus is a strong addition. Their signature W-Engine, Bellicose Blaze, further amplifies their kit with fire damage buffs and crit stats.
W-Engine Considerations
Starlight Rider Faceplate and Bellicose Blaze are specifically crafted for their respective agent. While they can be used by other characters of the same role, the passive effects are most potent when equipped on Billy or Orphie & Magus. If you plan to pull for either agent, their signature W-Engine is a worthwhile investment, especially for min-maxing.
Events and Rewards
Alongside the banners, a suite of events has launched:
- Check-In Event "'En-Nah' Into Your Lap" – Log in daily for Polychrome and other resources.
- "'Spirit' Artist's Notebook" – Limited-time event offering exclusive customization items.
- "A Look Into Ridu's Legends" – Story-driven event with combat challenges.
- "Good Morning, Roscaelifer" – A daily login-style event with rewards.
- "Return to Ridu: Together in a New Chapter" – A returning player event with bonuses for those coming back after a break.
These events provide a good source of Polychrome and upgrade materials, making this an ideal time to stock up for future banners. For a full schedule, check our Zenless Zone Zero events guide.
Team Synergies
Billy fits well in a Physical Rupture team alongside characters like Nicole (support) and Anby (stun). His Rupture application enables high physical damage from burst units. Orphie & Magus works best in a Fire-focused team with supports that increase ATK or provide fire resistance shred. Pair them with a stun agent like Koleda to maximize their damage window.
The current banner cycle in Zenless Zone Zero offers exciting new options for both damage and utility roles. Whether you pull depends on your roster needs and your pull savings. Keep an eye on the events to gather extra Polychrome before the banners end.
