With Version 5.2, players have been whisked away to the new region of Natlan, where the Masters of the Night-Wind and the Flower-Feather Clan reign supreme. And guess what? One of the hottest new materials you’ll want to get your hands on is the elusive Glowing Hornshroom.

This guide is your go-to for everything you need to know about collecting Glowing Hornshrooms efficiently. With a total of 72 to gather for character ascension, especially for the new Electro Sub-DPS unit, Ororon, it’s about to get real!

Tezcatepetonco Range: Your Hornshroom Haven

First stop: the Tezcatepetonco Range! This area is LOADED with Glowing Hornshrooms, making it the prime spot for farming. Start at the teleportation waypoint located west from the Statue of Seven in the Masters of the Night-Wind tribe. Glide down to your right, and BOOM – there’s your first Hornshroom by the waterbank!

From there, teleport back and head directly north into a canyon filled with these glowing fungi. Stick close to the water, as that’s where the majority are lurking. But be on the lookout! Some are cleverly hidden among the bushes, while others are a quick climb away, especially near the Cryo Wayob Manifestation. Collect and keep exploring!

As you venture deeper, check under waterfalls and near the tribe’s locations for extra finds. Make sure to climb, as many Hornshrooms are located on cliffs and shelves. Trust me, you don’t want to miss out on those sweet, glowing caps!

Masters of the Night-Wind Tribe Glowing Hornshroom Locations

Next up is the Masters of the Night-Wind tribe itself. At the teleport waypoint, turn around and nab the first two Hornshrooms before heading toward the baby Iktomisaurus. There are several more just waiting for you right near them.

Don’t skip the staircase leading upwards; jump off to the left for a surprise stash of Hornshrooms below! And once you’ve gathered everything from the Obsidian Totem Pole area, be sure to swing by the Chief’s vicinity for even more Hornshroom goodness.

Deadline at Ochkanatlan

Now let’s talk Ochkanatlan! This area’s a bit more challenging since you’ll need to unlock it first. But once you do, head north to the teleport waypoint. Grab the nearby Hornshrooms and begin your trek down towards the Iktomisaurus.

While gathering, watch out for the Ruin Grader around the corner! If you can take it down, there are two more hidden under an alcove nearby. And right at the base of the nearby trees, you’ll find the final collection waiting for you!
