Unraveling Honkai: Star Rail 2.3 Leaks: New Characters, Relics, and Events
Honkai: Star Rail fans are eagerly anticipating the upcoming Version 2.3 update, thanks to a series of intriguing leaks. Although HoYoverse has yet to officially confirm these details, the leaks reveal promising new characters, relics, and limited-time events. Keep in mind that updates might occur before the official release, as is common with game development.
Introducing the New Characters: Firefly and Jade
Firefly, also known as Sam the Stellaron Hunter, and Jade, a senior manager from the IPC Strategic Department, will join the 5-star banner characters in Version 2.3. Both characters boast unique abilities and impressive skillsets.
- Firefly: As a Destruction character, Firefly can switch between her human and mech forms, providing stat buffs and dealing significant damage to enemies.
- Jade: An Erudition unit, Jade can deal AoE Quantum damage to multiple enemies. Additionally, her Skill increases allies’ SPD, and she has a follow-up attack.
New Relics and Planar Ornaments
Two new Relic sets and Planar Ornaments will accompany the update, complementing Firefly and Jade’s abilities by boosting Break Effect and follow-up attacks. These include:
- Iron Cavalry Against Scourge (Relic): Enhances the wearer’s Break Effect and ignores enemies’ DEF.
- The Wind-Soaring Valorous (Relic): Boosts ATK and DMG dealt after the wearer uses their Ultimate or follow-up attack.
- Forge of the Kalpagni Lantern (Planar Ornament): Increases the wearer’s SPD and Break Effect, especially when hitting enemies with Fire Weakness.
- Duran, Dynasty of Running Wolves (Planar Ornament): Provides one stack of Merit per follow-up attack, increasing follow-up damage, with additional CRIT DMG at max Merit stacks.
Exciting Limited-Time Events
Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.3 promises a variety of limited-time events, offering fans the opportunity to farm Stellar Jades and materials for characters, especially if they’re pulling for Firefly and/or Jade. The events include:
- Divergent Universe: Human Comedy
- Nether Puppet
- Origami Bird Clash (match-3 PvP puzzle mode)
- Stellar Shimmer (currently a mystery but rumored to reward players with upgrade materials)
