Fest Recruitment Banners – Should You Pull?

Fest Recruitment doubles the 3★ rate to 6%, making it the most efficient time to spend Pyroxene. Both Kei and Aris (Armed) are new additions, while Hoshino (Armed) and ShirokoTerror are valuable reruns.

Kei is a high-damage Mystic attacker with unique mechanics tied to the Decagrammaton story. She excels in indoor and urban content, particularly against Special Armor bosses. If you lack a strong blue DPS, she's a top priority.

Aris (Armed) is a returning favorite with a powerful EX skill that deals massive damage to a single target. She remains a staple in many raid teams, especially against heavy-hitting bosses. Her rerun alongside Fest rates makes her an excellent pickup.

Hoshino (Armed) and ShirokoTerror are both limited students that have proven their worth in endgame content. Hoshino (Armed) offers a unique blend of tanking and DPS, while ShirokoTerror is a premier Light Armor nuker.

F2P advice: If you have at least 24,000 Pyroxene (one spark), using it during Fest is almost always correct due to the doubled rate. Prioritize Kei if you need a blue DPS; if your roster is strong, consider whether you value the returning units more. Remember that Recruitment Points carry over only within the same banner type, so plan accordingly.

Malkuth Event & Story Updates

The Operational Plan: Steel Continent, Allied Operation: Malkuth event runs from June 9 to June 23, with the shop available until July 14. This is a sequel to the previous Steel Continent event and features a raid-style boss fight against Malkuth.

  • Participation: Clear Mission 2-3 (Normal).
  • Mechanics: The boss appears June 10 at 2:00 AM UTC. Use Allied Operation Tickets (recharge every 30 min, max 40) to attempt difficulties A–D. The Final Battle is individual and does not consume tickets.
  • Rewards: Credit Points, Activity Reports, Enhancement Stones, Tech Notes, and more. Clearing the Final Battle yields Pyroxene, Secret Tech Notes, and Recruitment Tickets.

Additionally, the main story gets Ex. Decagrammaton Chapter 3: The Sky of Unity Part 3 (Ep. 11), accessible after clearing the Malkuth episode.

Joint Firing Drill – Defense Drill

From June 9 to June 15, the Joint Firing Drill features a Defense Drill with Indoor Warfare terrain and Special Armor enemies. Stages 3 and 4 boost Mystic effectiveness for AR and RG users, making students like Kei and Aris ideal picks. This is a great opportunity to earn Joint Firing Drill Coins and Credit Points.

Campaigns & Farming Priority

Several triple reward campaigns are live or upcoming:
Bounty: June 8–15
Mission (Normal): June 8–15
Mission (Hard): June 8–15
Scrimmage: June 15–22
Commissions: June 15–22
Account EXP Double: June 19–21

Plan your stamina usage accordingly. Prioritize Hard Mode for character shards if you need to ascend key students, and Bounty for credits if you're low on resources.

Final Thoughts

The June 9 update is a power-packed patch that rewards strategic Pyroxene spending. With Fest rates active, now is the time to pull if you've been waiting for a meta-defining unit. The Malkuth event also offers substantial rewards for those who can clear higher difficulties. Clear your daily tasks, manage your tickets, and enjoy the new story chapters.
