Flockingweed is one of those Genshin Impact materials you won't think about until you're suddenly leveling Alyosha. The plant stands out because of its animal-like fuzz coat, and it's mostly concentrated in Fellfrost Peak. But if you're trying to gather enough for a full ascension, you'll want to clear the other clusters too. You can collect Flockingweed in five main areas. The largest concentration is in Fellfrost Peak, so start there if you need a big chunk in one trip.
Fellfrost Peak
The Fellfrost Peak region accounts for most of the spawns. There are around 42 Flockingweed nodes in this zone.

If you head further west from the Relics of the Fallen Grace Domain, you'll also find an Exquisite Chest guarded by enemies, with more of Alyosha's ascension material nearby.
House of Hesperides
A smaller cluster of 9 Flockingweed plants sits northwest of the House of Hesperides. Teleport to the nearest waypoint and sweep the northwest side.
Tidesong Cavern
Another 9 are north of the Tidesong Cavern waypoint. Follow the path toward the Cavern of Melodic Tides and collect them as you go.
Cavern of Melodic Tides
Glide down toward the Cavern of Melodic Tides to grab 5 more Flockingweed. These are easy to pick up if you're already passing through the area.
Everfrozen Earth
Fast travel to the Inverted Glacier Domain in Everfrozen Earth, then head toward the southeastern cabin — the same cabin used in the Trembling Voice puzzle. You'll find 5 Flockingweed there.
Farming Tips
- Put Alyosha or Odette in your party. Their passive marks Flockingweed with a hand icon on the mini-map, so you won't miss any spawns.
- Follow this route: Fellfrost Peak → House of Hesperides → Tidesong Cavern → Cavern of Melodic Tides → Everfrozen Earth.
- Collect every node while you're in the area. Flockingweed respawns every two days, so a full sweep now keeps your future materials ready.
- Prioritize Fellfrost Peak first. It gives you roughly 60% of the entire cycle.
Respawn and Planning
Like other Genshin Impact ascension materials, Flockingweed respawns on a 48-hour cycle. If you're planning to max out Alyosha, try to build a routine: hit the five zones in order, use a character with the tracking passive, and return every two days.
