Odette Kit Breakdown
Normal Attack – Snow Swan Variation
Odette performs up to five consecutive sword strikes. A charged attack consumes stamina for a forward slash, and her plunging attack deals AoE Cryo damage on impact. Standard sword-user animations with no special modifiers.
Elemental Skill – Adagio: Phantom Night Dancers
This skill deals AoE Cryo damage and summons the Solo Dance Double, which alternates between two dance moves—Plume and Wing—periodically attacking nearby enemies with AoE Cryo. For six seconds after casting, the skill becomes Adagio: Coda at Dawn's Tolling, a duet that deals continuous AoE Cryo damage and ends with a burst counted as Stellar-Conduct or Stellar Swirl damage. This is the core of her field presence.
Elemental Burst – Presto: Bluebird Finale
Odette deals multiple instances of AoE Cryo damage, summons the Solo Dance Double (or refreshes its duration), and gains Snow Swan's Dream, which boosts her Stellar Glimmer reaction damage. For six seconds after the burst, her Elemental Skill is replaced with the special duet version, mirroring the skill's effect. The burst essentially extends her damage window and reaction potential.
Passives
- Dance of Aurore (Passive 1): Enhances nearby party members' Superconduct or Cryo Swirl reactions into Stellar-Conduct or Stellar Swirl, respectively. Base damage of these reactions increases by 0.7% per 100 ATK (max 14%). This is the linchpin of her team contribution.
- Spring Rite of the Chosen One (Passive 2): When summoning the Solo Dance Double, Odette gains 4 stacks of Marvelous Splendor, a personal buff.
- Pathetique of Pateticheskaya (Passive 3): For every 100 ATK above 1,000, her Stellar Glimmer damage increases by 1.5% of the original damage (max 30%). Incentivizes high ATK stacking.
- Echo of Winter Daydreams (Passive 4): Shows Snezhnaya's Local Specialties on the mini-map. A quality-of-life exploration passive.
Odette Constellations
Each constellation upgrade significantly boosts her damage or team utility.
| Constellation | Effect |
|---|---|
| C1 – "On This Danceless Morn…" | Additional AoE Cryo damage after duet end (300% ATK for Stellar-Conduct, 450% for Stellar Swirl). Also grants 2 extra Marvelous Splendor stacks on summon, but off-field decay speeds to 2 stacks/sec. |
| C2 – "I Must See the Snow Swan's Unseen Dream…" | Each Marvelous Splendor stack grants +7% ATK. Enemies near the Dance Double have 20% reduced Elemental Resistance (Cryo/Electro for Stellar-Conduct, Cryo/Anemo for Stellar Swirl). |
| C3 – "I'll Chase the Shouting Wind Along…" | Elemental Skill level +3 (max 15). |
| C4 – "Up, Up the Long, Delirious, Burning Blue…" | Party members' Stellar Glimmer damage from Snow Swan's Dream increased by 50%. Odette performs a coordinated AoE Cryo attack (66% or 99% ATK) every 3.5s when allies trigger Stellar Glimmer. |
| C5 – "Oh! I Have Slipped the Surly Bonds of Earth" | Elemental Burst level +3 (max 15). |
| C6 – "Put Out My Hand, and Touched the Face of the Divine" | Marvelous Splendor stacks never decrease while all party members have the buff. Affected characters deal 25% more Stellar Glimmer damage; Odette deals an additional 20%. |
Teams & Synergies
Odette is designed to enable Stellar Glimmer reactions, which replace Superconduct and Cryo Swirl. This means she pairs well with Electro or Anemo supports.
- Premium Team: Odette + Yae Miko (for Stellar-Conduct) + Kazuha (for crowd control and Cryo Swirl) + Bennett (ATK buff). Rotation: Yae skill → Kazuha skill/burst → Bennett burst → Odette skill + burst loop. Yae benefits from the Yae Miko Stellar-Conduct Best Build Guide for optimized damage.
- F2P Variant: Odette + Fischl (off-field Electro) + Sucrose (EM share, VV shred) + Diona (healing, Cryo resonance). Fischl triggers consistent Superconduct, which Odette converts into Stellar-Conduct.
- Stellar Swirl Comp: Odette + Venti / Sucrose + Xiangling (for occasional Melt) + Bennett. The swirl reaction is converted to Stellar Swirl, boosting Odette's damage.
Build Notes
- Artifact Sets: Blizzard Strayer or a 2-piece Blizzard + 2-piece ATK% set if she isn't the main freeze trigger. For Stellar Glimmer focus, a new set may arrive in future patches—stay tuned to Genshin Impact 7.1 Banner Preview: Vesna, Vodyanitsa & Reruns.
- Main Stats: ATK% sands, Cryo DMG% goblet, Crit rate/damage circlet. ER requirements: Around 130-150% if solo Cryo; less with a battery.
- Weapons: Mistsplitter Reforged (her best-in-slot), Primordial Jade Cutter, Favonius Sword (F2P ER option).
- Constellations: C1 and C2 are major power spikes. C4 adds teamwide damage. C6 trivializes stack management and offers massive reaction damage.
Should You Pull?
Odette is a strong driver for Cryo reaction teams, but her value depends on your roster. If you lack a Cryo DPS and enjoy reaction-based gameplay, she's a solid pick. Her C2 offers significant team resistance shred, making her a premium support-damage hybrid. However, players with established Cryo units (like Ayaka or Ganyu) may find her niche unless they want to explore the new Stellar Glimmer meta.
F2P and low-spend players: She works well budget builds (Fischl, Sucrose teams). Her rerun is likely in version 7.4 or later, so there's time to save Primogems.
Takeaway
Odette introduces a fresh reaction dynamic to Genshin Impact. Her kit rewards high ATK investment and team coordination, but she's not an auto-include for every account. Evaluate her alongside upcoming banners like Vesna and Vodyanitsa to maximize your Primogem efficiency. Good luck pulling for Odette!
