Headline Changes

New Nikkes

Laplace: Ultimate Hero is the first banner. This Wind-attacker wields Ultimate Hero Syndrome (RL) and focuses on explosive multi-target damage via her Burst Skill. She is designed to amplify her own offensive capabilities, making her a strong candidate for boss fights and wave clearing.

Maxwell: Ordinary Mechanic follows as a Wind-support with My Heavenly Cutey (SR) . She boosts her own and all allies’ attack power, which could revitalize certain team compositions, especially in raid settings.

Both units belong to Missilis Industry and are available at a 2% rate in their respective special recruits. They enter the standard pool after their banners end.

Should You Pull?

Laplace: Ultimate Hero – High priority for players who lack a powerful Wind attacker. Her burst damage is substantial, and as the leader of Matis, she may have long-term synergy with future Missilis units. F2P players with a strong Wind DPS can skip, but her role compression makes her tempting.

Maxwell: Ordinary Mechanic – A valuable support for attack-reliant teams. If you are building around heavy hitters like Modernia or Scarlet: Black Shadow, Maxwell’s teamwide ATK buff could provide noticeable gains. Her banner starts a week later, giving you time to gauge needs.

Both characters are limited-time recruits. Pity carries over on banners of the same type, so you can save mileage tickets if you are unsure.

Events & Rewards

The centerpiece is PROJECT MATIS, a story event set during the Third Surface Reclamation War. It features two story parts (July 23 and July 30), a challenge stage, and the usual shop filled with recruit vouchers and skill materials. Participating also unlocks the NEW FLAVOR archive entry.

A 14-day login event called HERO DAYS gives additional vouchers and development materials.

FULL BURST DAY returns on two weekends (August 1–3 and August 8–10), doubling rewards in Interception and Simulation Room.

New Modes

Solo Raid Museum offers a permanent boss gauntlet where you can fight past solo raid bosses like Harvester, Crystal Chamber, and Indivilia. Clear challenge stages to unlock No Limit mode, earn avatar frames, and climb the Ark rankings. This mode is a welcome addition for endgame players wanting repeatable high-difficulty content.

Champion Arena Beta Season 35 starts July 30, bringing competitive rankings and cheer-based predictions.

Union Raid (July 31 – August 6) and Coordinated Operation (July 31 – August 2) provide cooperative play opportunities with exclusive rewards.

QoL & Systems

  • Rhythm game improvements: TRACING THE STARS gains audio output device settings, sound buffer adjustments, and low-latency input on PC.
  • Social Points now accumulate until the next day and can be claimed all at once.
  • Lobby icon reorganization bundles items into folders for a cleaner UI.
  • Quick Use for bundle boxes and lucky boxes now works in batches, saving time in inventory.
  • Favorite Items are added for Phantom, Sugar, Rosanna, and Flora, unlocking new story and stats.
  • New profile decorations, titles, and lobby backgrounds round out the cosmetics.
