NIKKE Patch Notes: Battle Fixes, QoL, and Rhythm Game Upgrades

The latest Goddess of Victory: NIKKE update has arrived, bringing a mix of battle fixes, quality-of-life improvements, and enhancements to the TRACING THE STARS rhythm game. While there are no new banners or characters this time, the patch addresses several long-standing issues that affect daily play and event participation.

Battle Fixes

Two specific Rapture attacks have been corrected. The Muscle Toad – Grenade Launcher and Rebuild Vulcan R – Large Caliber Rifle now display their attacks and effects as intended after parts are destroyed. This should make those encounters more readable and less confusing.

In Arena, Diesel: Winter Sweets’s Skill 1 was incorrectly applying Intro and Highlight states regardless of ally Burst order. That’s fixed, which could subtly shift Arena matchups involving her.

Additionally, recovery effects on incapacitated Nikkes will no longer show in the HP UI under certain circumstances. The actual battle result was unaffected, so this is purely a visual correction.

Quality-of-Life & System Changes

Several small but welcome improvements land this patch:

• Language support: Español (LATAM) is now available under Account – Language.
• Nikke Select Boxes: A new Check List button lets you view included Nikkes, even for locked boxes.
• Squad Info popup animation improved.
• Campaign stage info: Long-pressing BOSS and EX stages now correctly shows the popup.
• Synchro Device: Limit Break and Core Enhancement results now reflect immediately.
• Simulation Room: Buff Legacy guide text made more natural.
• Lost Sector: Fixed a freeze when a quiz appears during Portal Move.
• Union Raid: Battle records now display during tallying.
• Ark Campaign rankings: Normal Mode progress no longer incorrectly shows in Hard Mode rankings.

On the technical side, Android purchases that are canceled should no longer cause endless loading, and title screen downloads are more stable on weak networks. Arena replay under unstable networks now shows a guide popup instead of an empty lobby.

Rhythm Game: TRACING THE STARS

The rhythm mini-game receives substantial updates:

• Layout Settings (Option – Advanced): Adjust panel tilt, judgment line position, and panel zoom.
• PERFECT Hit Fast/Late Graph: Shows input timing within the PERFECT window.
• Rating system: Players now earn rating levels based on performance; viewable in the profile’s Rating tab. The average score display is replaced by the rating.
• PC shortcut keys: Press ~ to see available shortcuts on song list, ready screen, and result screen. Pause menu shortcuts are also displayed.
• Shortcut remap: F3 now jumps to Rating tab, F4 to Overall Rankings, F5 to Song Rankings.
• Visual fixes: Long note start effects and SHOW DOWN choreography on EXPERT difficulty corrected.

These changes give rhythm game enthusiasts more control and feedback, making the mode more competitive and accessible.

Other Notable Fixes

• Audio: Fixed shooting sounds for MG/SMG Nikkes when resuming from pause, and various unintended sound effects.
• Visuals: Corrected cropped animations in Nikke obtain, Limit Break, and Core Enhancement screens. Improved live wallpaper resolution on mobile (Texture Quality High).
• Costumes: Fixed missing accessories for Belorta: Pumpkin Witch and overlapping hat/hair for Label: Occultist.
• Story: Corrected lines in ARK RANGER and a cutscene in GREAT VILLAIN UNION.
• Jukebox: Added background music collection reward for the FOLK TALE album; eligible players can claim it now.

Pre-Patch To-Dos

Before the update, consider finishing any ongoing event stages or claiming rewards that might be affected by the changes. In particular, if you haven’t cleared the LORD, FOR JUSTICE archives event, do so and check message conversations to clear the red dot indicator. Also, if you’re close to a Limit Break or Core Enhancement, hold off until after the patch to ensure Synchro Device updates correctly.

1. Arena: Test Diesel: Winter Sweets teams to see if the fix changes any outcomes.
