NIKKE Patch Notes: D’s Burst Fix & QoL Updates

NIKKE’s latest update fixes D’s Burst bug, improves UI, and adjusts title screen options. Here’s what changed and what it means for players.

Goddess of Victory: NIKKE has rolled out a new maintenance patch that touches everything from battle logic to lobby polish. While there are no new banners or story chapters in this update, the changes are worth a quick read—especially if you run D in your teams or spend time in SP Arena.

For the latest NIKKE news and guides, keep this page handy. Below, we break down the most impactful fixes and system tweaks from the official patch notes.

At a Glance

  • D's Burst Skill "Chastisement" now correctly applies its Full Burst duration extension in all circumstances.
  • Title screen video updates on 2025-09-10; you can switch back via Settings > Others > Title Settings.
  • Nikkepedia squad info popup now shows squad logos (or manufacturer logos for Abnormal units).
  • SP Arena HP UI fixes and a red dot indicator cleanup on the Story Event banner.
  • Lost Sector and Lobby Decoration get usability improvements.
  • TRACING THE STARS rhythm game receives several input and audio fixes.

Battle Fixes: D's Burst and More

The headline fix addresses D's Burst Skill "Chastisement," which previously failed to extend Full Burst duration under certain conditions. If you've been using D in your burst rotation, this correction makes her kit more reliable—especially in content where timing matters.

Other battle-related adjustments include:

  • SP Arena no longer lets battle information leak into subsequent rounds, and the HP UI now displays correctly (effects were already applied normally).
  • Bloom Effects under Settings > Graphics now apply as intended.
  • Rapture animations in Campaign Chapter 48 and certain enemy sizes (Bone Spear, Box Man, Dresser) were corrected.
  • Costume-specific aiming UI positions were fixed for Blanc – Fortune Express, Emma – Office Therapy, Emma – Color Me Red, and Vesti – Ark Mage.

Quality-of-Life Improvements

Several system tweaks aim to smooth out daily play:

  • Title screen video will update on 2025-09-10, but you can revert to the previous one via Settings > Others > Title Settings. Note that event-exclusive title screens cannot be changed during the event.
  • Nikkepedia squad info popup now displays the squad's logo, or the manufacturer's logo for Abnormal characters.
  • Lobby Decoration page transitions are smoother when dragging, with a clearer UI and larger arrow buttons.
  • Lost Sector now shows a guide message when you select inactive buttons.
  • Lobby shortcut menu unlock condition changed from completing Main Mission "Responsibility" to "Humans and Monsters"—a slightly earlier point in the story.
  • Message screen fixes for display errors; if you still encounter issues, try Clear Cache from the Title screen.

Event and Story Fixes

A handful of fixes target event and story content:

  • Side Mission dialogue sequences now play correctly in the Campaign field, fixing completion issues for Raptilion's Request I-VI, Roam's Request I-III, Collector's Request II, Missilis Research Group's Request I, Music Lover's Request, and Teddy's Request.
  • PERSONA ON FRONTLINE event BGM now plays correctly in the Event Record menu and in the field.
  • Event Stage list and Side Stories stage list display issues were resolved.
  • NPC avatars in Side Missions now appear as intended.

TRACING THE STARS Rhythm Game Fixes

If you've been playing the TRACING THE STARS rhythm game, this patch addresses several input and audio issues:

  • Fixed key combinations failing when Low Latency Input is enabled.
  • Prevented unintended actions during the tutorial.
  • Fixed shortcut keys activating in the song list when they shouldn't.
  • Corrected BGM and audio output issues on certain screens and PC devices.

Other Notable Fixes

  • Aigis's Persona "Palladion" now displays correctly after obtaining her.
  • Cinderella: Crystal Wave accessory animations on the Advise screen were fixed.
  • Jukebox BGM no longer pauses on some devices.
  • Maxwell: Ordinary Mechanic charging sound effect is now natural.
  • Laplace: Ultimate Hero standing motion in Advice episodes with the Prototype Hero costume was corrected.
  • Union level info displays more naturally at max level.
  • Various language localization issues were fixed.

What This Means for You

This patch is mostly about polish, but the D fix and SP Arena adjustments could affect your team performance. If you've been holding back on using D, now is a good time to test her again. For newer players, the earlier unlock of the Lobby shortcut menu is a small but welcome convenience.
