Key Battle Fixes

Rapi: Red Hood & Stun Status

One of the most requested fixes addresses an issue where the stun status would fail to apply to certain Nikkes under specific conditions. This fix specifically applies to Rapi: Red Hood, whose kit relies on timely crowd control. Commanders using her in high-difficulty content should now see consistent performance.

Indivilia’s Missing Damage

A bug where Indivilia's attacks would not deal damage in some situations has been corrected. This change is significant for players tackling Solo Raid or Union Raid encounters against this Rapture, as it restores expected damage output.

Julia’s Skill in Coordinated Operation

Julia’s Favorite Item Skill 1 “Crescendo” was not functioning as intended during Coordinated Operation battles. This patch restores her skill’s intended effect, which may shift her viability in multi-team content.

General Shooting Direction

A fix was applied to prevent some Nikkes’ attacks from firing in unintended directions during battle against certain Raptures. This should improve overall auto-aim consistency.

System & QoL Improvements

Outpost Defense Count Correction

An exploit allowed some Commanders to acquire more Outpost Defense counts than intended. Shift Up has decided not to revoke excess counts. Instead, eligible Commanders who did not receive extra counts will be retroactively awarded 1 outpost defense count. Additionally, new Commanders will now start with 1 count upon unlocking the feature. This is a rare example of player-friendly compensation in a gacha game.

Dark Matter Info & Guidance

A new Dark Matter info display has been added to the Monster Info screen, along with a guide pop-up that triggers on first encounter in Solo Raid or select campaign stages. This helps players prepare for these special Raptures without external resources.

Google Play Games Connectivity

Android users can now link their accounts via Google Play Games, gaining access to exclusive achievements. This feature is not available on iOS.

Red Dot & UI Fixes

Several red dot indicators have been corrected:
– In the Ark's Tribe Tower and Arena.
– In the Cash Shop for certain accounts.
– In Archives – MEMORIES TELLER when rewards were available.

The Nikke roster and Advise screens now show the active status of the red dot filter more clearly, reducing confusion.

Shop & Gems

A fix was applied to the Gem Shop where the Free Gem quantity displayed incorrectly on first purchase. The actual reward was correct, but the tooltip now matches the grant. This should reduce player confusion around first purchase bonuses.

Miscellaneous

  • Campaign and Archives cutscenes play more naturally.
  • Champion Arena reward mail content reads more naturally; title display fixed for Rhythm Master, Full Combo Master, and All Perfect Master.
  • E.H.'s standing pose decorative elements adjusted.
  • Dialogue in Campaign Chapter 8 “Conflict” corrected for lore consistency.
  • Helm – Post-Shower Moment touch sound effect now works regardless of graphics settings.
  • Mary – Mystery Muse touch sound effect corrected.
  • Resource recovery pop‑up no longer appears incorrectly on restart.

TRACING THE STARS Rhythm Game Improvements

The built-in rhythm game TRACING THE STARS received several targeted fixes:
– Unexpected voice lines no longer play.
– Audio transitions improved for smoother playback.
– Controls are now responsive when navigating the Album Package Shop.
– Score display no longer gets cut off.

These tweaks should make the rhythm game more enjoyable for completionists and casual players alike.

What This Means for Players

This patch is largely a cleanup update, but it has real implications for roster usability. Rapi: Red Hood is a staple in many teams, and the stun fix ensures she performs as intended. Julia may also see renewed interest from Commanders who invested in her Favorite Item. The Outpost Defense compensation is a welcome bonus for most players.

Day-1 Priorities

After updating, Commanders should:
1. Check your Outpost Defense counts – eligible players will receive 1 extra count.
2. Review the Gem Shop first purchase pop-up if you haven't bought gems yet.
3. Test Rapi: Red Hood in battle to confirm stun consistency.
4. Try TRACING THE STARS for smoother audio and controls.
5. Look for the Dark Matter guide pop-up in Solo Raid or campaign.

Final Thoughts

While not a headline-grabbing content drop, this NIKKE patch demonstrates Shift Up’s commitment to refining the player experience. The battle fixes and UI cleanups address long-standing annoyances, and the Outpost Defense compensation is a rare positive for the community.
