NIKKE September 2026 Update: Banners, Events & More

The September 17, 2026 update for Goddess of Victory: NIKKE is shaping up to be one of the most packed patches of the year. Commanders are getting two new bunny-themed SSRs, a returning Limited Select Recruit system with six winter units, a fully voiced story event, and a suite of quality-of-life improvements that address long-standing community complaints.

Maintenance runs from 2026-09-17 11:00:00 to 18:00:00 (UTC+9). The update is mandatory, and mobile players need at least 16GB of free space (20GB for new Commanders). PC client users should select LAUNCH on their launcher. Do not close the game during resource downloads.

New Nikkes: Guilty and Sin

SSR Guilty: Mighty Bunny

Guilty: Mighty Bunny is a Water Code Attacker from Missilis Industry, wielding the Rumble Stomper (SR). Her kit focuses on self-buffing her offensive capabilities, culminating in a Burst Skill that deals massive single-target damage.

SSR Sin: Swift Bunny

Sin: Swift Bunny is also a Water Code Attacker from Missilis Industry, using the Blink Carrot (SR). Her Burst Skill boosts her offense further and spreads damage across multiple enemies, making her a strong pick for mob-heavy content.

Limited Select Recruit: Winter Reruns Return

The Limited Select Recruit system returns, allowing you to pick one limited Nikke from a list and recruit her with a 2% rate-up. Unselected Nikkes will not appear. You can change your selection at any time.

All six share the same recruit rules: 4% SSR rate, 2% rate-up, Gold Mileage Tickets earned, and 200 tickets for a direct exchange. After the event, these units will not be available in Ordinary Recruit, New Commander Special Recruit, Tutorial Recruit, Social Point Recruit, Mileage Shop, or Mold items.

Should You Pull?

Guilty: Mighty Bunny and Sin: Swift Bunny are both Water Code Attackers, which is notable given the current Solo Raid weakness to Water. If you lack strong Water DPS, Guilty is the more straightforward single-target option, while Sin offers multi-target coverage.

For the Limited Select Recruit, this is a rare chance to grab winter-limited units like Anne: Miracle Fairy (revive support) and Ludmilla: Winter Owner (core damage). If you missed them in previous winter events, this is your best shot until the next rerun.

F2P Commanders should prioritize one banner and stick to it. With two new SSRs and six limited reruns running simultaneously, spreading resources thin is a recipe for regret. If you already have a solid Water DPS, consider skipping Guilty and Sin in favor of a limited unit you missed.

COIN RUSH SHOWDOWN: New Story Event

The new fully voiced story event, COIN RUSH SHOWDOWN, runs from 2026-09-17 (after maintenance) to 2026-10-08 04:59:59 (UTC+9). The plot centers on the first Big Three Manufacturers' Expo, with the Commander joining Plan C Squad in a battle royale that spirals into a conspiracy.

Mini Game: THREE COMPANY RUMBLE

A new mini-game, THREE COMPANY RUMBLE, tasks you with knocking away bunny girl Nikkes, collecting coins, and surviving. It runs alongside the main event.

Other Events

• 14-Day Login Event – EXPO CHECK-IN: Log in for 14 days to earn Advanced Recruit Vouchers and materials.
• FULL BURST DAY: Weekend-only bonus rewards in Interception and Simulation Room on 2026-09-26 to 2026-09-28 and 2026-10-03 to 2026-10-05.
• Archives – STAR ANIS: Added to Archives after maintenance.
• Storyline – COIN RUSH SHOWDOWN: Added to Storyline after maintenance.

New Costumes and Reruns

Three new limited costumes are available:

System Improvements and Endgame Updates

The update includes several quality-of-life changes that veteran players have requested for months.

Equipment Modification Overhaul

The Equipment Modification system sees significant improvements:

• Lock Effect material consumption now only occurs when changing effects or rerolling values, not when locking.
• Load Previous Lock Settings allows you to recall and re-apply previous Custom Lock configurations.
• Duplicate Result Re-roll automatically rerolls if a slot generates the exact same effect and value.
• Max Level Effect Warning adds a confirmation prompt when risking a Lv. 15 effect.
• Removal of Unlock Conditions for changing effects and rerolling values for Commanders under Lv. 100.

Solo Raid and Simulation Room

• Solo Raid Season 41 runs from 2026-09-24 12:00:00 to 2026-10-01 04:59:59 (UTC+9). The boss is Fire Code, weak to Water.
• Simulation Room Overclock Mode (Season 10) begins 2026-09-22 05:00:00 and runs until 2026-12-15 04:59:59 (UTC+9). Requires clearing Difficulty 5 Sector C.
• Battle Simulation is now available for locked stages in Solo Raid.

Champion Arena and Coordinated Operation

• Champion Arena Beta Season 39 starts 2026-09-24. Note that Beta Season 40 will be the last before a temporary pause for official season preparation.
• Coordinated Operation against Land Eater runs 2026-09-25 12:00:00 to 2026-09-27 23:59:59 (UTC+9).
