NTE Version 1.3: Rising from the Moonlit Fog

The Neverness to Everness Version 1.3 Special Program has lifted the lid on one of the game's most ambitious updates yet. Titled "Rising from the Moonlit Fog," the patch introduces two new S-Class characters, a massive new district, summer-themed activities, and a long list of quality-of-life improvements. Version 1.3 picks up shortly after the Appraiser escapes the Corridor of Echoes. The Scarlet Letter has already secured Anomalies tied to the Past, Present, and Future, and the story now moves into Fogden for what the program describes as the organization's hunting ground. Should You Pull?

Zankou debuts in Phase 1 as an S-Class character. His kit was not detailed in the program, so it's too early to judge meta impact. Nanally returns alongside him, giving newer players a chance to grab a familiar face.

Linko arrives in Phase 2, and Hotori reruns with her. If you're saving for one, note that Phase 2 starts roughly three weeks after launch.

F2P and low-spend players: The Circle Gifts login event grants up to 10 Solid Dice over seven days. That's a meaningful head start, but not enough to guarantee a limited character. Plan around your pity and decide which phase matters more to your roster.

New District: Duskmoor

Duskmoor is the headline open-world addition. Located in northwest Hethereau, it's been under construction since the Appraiser first arrived, and Version 1.3 finally opens it up.

The district is built around cars and racing. A full lap of its highway loop takes more than 10 minutes, making it one of the largest zones in the game. Oracle Stones can be collected without leaving your vehicle, which should appeal to completionists who prefer driving over walking.

New Racing Challenges span villages, fields, mountain roads, highways, and rally circuits. Road surfaces, elevation changes, and consecutive corners will test your driving skills. If you enjoy NTE's vehicle gameplay, Duskmoor could be the standout addition of the patch.

Summer Events and Activities

Version 1.3 brings a beach area to Hethereau, along with several seasonal activities. Summer outfits are confirmed for the Appraiser, Nanally, Chaos, Zankou, Mint, Shinku, and Iroi. More outfits are planned for future updates.

Beach Volleyball

Beach Volleyball is a permanent addition to Hethereau Hobbies. Matches are 2v2, with you controlling one character and an AI teammate covering the other side.

In the Rookie Series, you unlock progressively harder matches by winning. The first team to seven points with a two-point lead wins. Each character has six Volleyball stats: Serve, Spike, Set, Receive, Block, and Dig. Characters gain EXP and improve through play, and Talent Bread can push specific stats beyond their normal cap.

A Weekly Match PvE tournament lets you choose a teammate and advance through group and knockout stages. A full run is five matches, and one loss ends your week. Placement determines Fons payout and weekly ranking; winning the championship awards Talent Bread. Results feed into Hethereau's citywide Volleyball rankings.

Jet Ski Salvage

This activity sends you onto the water to recover floating cargo using a harpoon. The catch is fuel: only cargo returned to shore before the Jet Ski runs out counts for points. Balancing exploration and the return trip is the core challenge.

Water Racing

Water racing is also confirmed, though specific rules were not detailed in the program.

New Vehicles

The Tide is NTE's first water vehicle. It's available through a Mystery Box set after the update. You can spend Fons or Annulith to open boxes, with costs increasing after each one. There are 15 boxes total, and opening all guarantees every reward in the pool. The set also includes summer outfits for the male and female Appraiser, Mint, and Nanally.

A dune buggy is also coming and will be purchasable directly with Fons. The Yesteryear tandem bicycle arrives in the second half of Version 1.3 alongside the Bike Ride-Along event.

Housing: Stillmeadow House and Farming

Stillmeadow House is a detached home in Miguel District with its own yard and farmland. After purchasing the property, you can plant seeds, wait for crops to mature, and harvest them. Crops can be sold for Fons by spending City Stamina.

This expands NTE's property system and gives players a passive income route, though the stamina cost means it's not entirely free money.

New Game Modes

Building Hethereau (Permanent)

Building Hethereau joins Hethereau Hobbies as a permanent mode. New construction jobs post daily, with difficulty scaling to the site's size. Tasks include loading and transporting materials, leveling ground, digging foundations, and completing multi-step jobs on larger sites.

Runaway Echoes (Limited-Time)

Runaway Echoes is a combat event where you select one character and enter an Anomalous Realm filled with monster waves. Standard skills activate automatically, so you focus on movement, positioning, dodging, and collecting EXP orbs. It's a lighter, more mobile-focused combat experience.

Dragon Keep Challenge

Dragon Keep receives a floor-based monster challenge on the Warren Continent. Standard Mode has 99 floors, and you must clear every enemy on a floor to advance. Infinite Mode removes the floor cap entirely, letting you climb as long as you can survive.

Other Events

Several additional events are confirmed: Stamina Recharge, Gold Rush, Pixel Surge, Fons Rush, and Beyond The Rails. Specific rewards and dates were not detailed in the program.

Quality-of-Life Improvements

Version 1.3 includes several smaller but welcome changes:

• Nanally's "The Popular Kid" outfit gets a toggleable glasses accessory.
• Bagel receives a dedicated Furniture & Decor category.
