What Are Video Archive Wallpapers?

HoYoverse periodically releases official wallpapers tied to major version updates. These are typically high-quality illustrations featuring new characters, factions, or key art from the patch. The Version 3.2 Video Archive set follows that tradition, though the official post did not specify which characters or scenes are included.

What we do know is that the wallpapers are free to download and use. The post explicitly invites Proxies to "download & use them," which suggests they are intended for personal use as desktop or mobile backgrounds. No licensing details beyond that were stated in official materials.

How to Download the Wallpapers

The process is straightforward. Follow the official HoYo link provided in the announcement: https://hoyo.link/cODJD4Bb8. From there, you'll likely find a gallery or download page hosted by HoYoverse. The exact steps may vary depending on your region or device, but the link is the only official source mentioned.

If the page does not load or the wallpapers are not visible, it may be a regional rollout issue. Not stated in official materials whether the wallpapers are available in all regions simultaneously. As always, avoid third-party mirrors unless you trust the source.

Connection to Version 3.2: Their Secret Histories

The wallpapers are tied to the Version 3.2 update, which introduced a significant chunk of new content. According to EarlyGG's coverage, the patch brought two new S-Rank Agents: Claret and Roxy. It also introduced the Flint Workshop faction, continued the Roscaelifer storyline, and added new outfits for the Angels of Delusion trio.

The main story also advanced with Season 3 Chapter 3: Their Secret Histories. For a full breakdown of banners, events, and rewards, see our ZZZ 3.2 'Their Secret Histories' guide.

Should You Download Them?

If you enjoy official art or want to refresh your device's look, there's little downside. The wallpapers are free, and they celebrate the current patch. For lore enthusiasts, they may also offer visual hints about the Flint Workshop or other new elements. However, if you were hoping for specific character art, you'll need to check the link to see what's actually included.

For players focused purely on gameplay, the wallpapers have no impact on your roster or progression. They're cosmetic extras. But as a small piece of the Version 3.2 rollout, they're worth a look.

What Else Arrived in 3.2?

Beyond wallpapers, the update is packed. The Claret and Roxy banners are live, and players can also pull for Nangong Yu according to our banner guide. The story chapter requires certain prerequisites, which we've detailed in our unlock guide.

HoYoverse also compensated players with 600 Polychrome for the update downtime and fixes. That's 300 for the server update and 300 for issue fixes, as noted in our coverage.

Speculative Threads

Unconfirmed — subject to change. Some players speculate that the wallpapers might feature the new Flint Workshop faction or the Angels of Delusion in their new costumes. However, the official post did not confirm any specific characters or scenes. Another thread suggests that future Video Archive releases could tie into limited-time events, but that remains unverified.

What to Watch Next

Keep an eye on official HoYoverse channels for any additional Version 3.2 content, such as new events or reruns. The wallpapers are a minor addition, but they signal that the update cycle is still active. For now, download them while they're available.

Conclusion

The Version 3.2 Video Archive wallpapers are a small but nice bonus for Proxies who enjoy official art. They're free, easy to download, and connect to the ongoing Their Secret Histories update. Grab them via the official link, and stay tuned to EarlyGG for more Zenless Zone Zero coverage.
