Pioneer Source Structure Location #1 (Northern Ruins)

Head to the northern ruins of the Moontide Sea and activate the lift to descend. Grab the energy from the cube, then interact with the sphere beside it. The sphere will float up but remain incomplete — a group of flying enemies holds the missing piece. Use the lift to return to the surface and jump through the swarm to retrieve it. Once the structure is complete, it will float to the central area and rest on one of the pedestals.

Pioneer Source Structure Location #2 (Southwest)

From the puzzle's starting point, turn southwest. You'll spot a wandering Pioneer Source Structure carrying an Ancient Moon Pearl. Take the energy from the structure to free the pearl, then push it to the empty pedestal that is partially buried. A chest will appear, along with a deactivated source structure. Extract energy from any sphere and throw it at the inactive structure to activate it — it will then move to the middle and occupy a second pedestal.

Pioneer Source Structure Location #3 (Northeastern Ruins)

The final structure is in the northeastern ruins. You'll see an empty pedestal and two patrolling red structures that will snatch any energy sphere they see. Walk to the end of the ruins (northeast direction) to find some energy spheres. Push one of them to the pedestal while dodging the red patrols — this may take a few tries. Once the sphere is in place, open the large chest to obtain an energy source, then throw it at the deactivated structure. It will glide to the center, completing the puzzle.

Troubleshooting: If the energy spheres fail to spawn, teleport to a waypoint outside the Blue Moon area and return. If that doesn't work, restart the game entirely.

Post-Puzzle Rewards

After a short cutscene, use the lift in the middle to ascend. You'll find an Exquisite Chest. Turn east to see a floating platform covered in spheres — throw energy at them to reveal a Luxurious Chest and a Precious Chest. Additionally, use the nearby portal to travel through a lane that leads outside the map, where another Precious Chest and Common Chest await.
