Wuthering Waves 3.5 Release Date & Banner Details

Wuthering Waves 3.5 launches July 9 with Yangyang: Xuanling, new region Mengzhou, and Luuk Herssen rerun. Find all release times and banner details.

Kuro Games is rolling out Wuthering Waves 3.5 on July 9, 2026, bringing a fresh region and a new alternate form for a familiar Resonator. The patch introduces Mengzhou, a zone promising new exploration and lore, and debuts Yangyang: Xuanling — a powered-up version of the wind-wielding guide. For the latest Wuthering Waves news, this update also packs a highly anticipated rerun and a set of reliable 4-star rate-ups.

If you’ve been saving Astrites, this phase could be worth a look. The banner lineup and maintenance schedule are now confirmed, so let’s break down what you need to know before servers go down.

At a Glance

  • Version 3.5 Release: July 9, 2026 (ET) / July 10, 2026 (most of Asia & Europe)
  • New Region: Mengzhou
  • New Resonator: Yangyang: Xuanling (5-star Aero? – official details pending)
  • Phase 1 Banner: Yangyang: Xuanling debut + Luuk Herssen rerun
  • 4-Star Rate-Ups: Danjin, Chixia, Aalto
  • Banner Duration: July 9 – July 30, 2026

Banner Overview

Phase 1 runs from July 9 to July 30, 2026. Alongside the new Yangyang: Xuanling banner, the rerun for Luuk Herssen makes a return. Both are limited 5-star Resonators.

The following 4-star characters will have increased drop rates on both banners:

  • Danjin (Havoc, Sword)
  • Chixia (Fusion, Pistols)
  • Aalto (Aero, Pistols)

Should You Pull?

Yangyang: Xuanling is an alternate form of the base Yangyang (a 4-star Aero unit). While full kit details are not yet public, alternate forms in Wuthering Waves tend to be significant upgrades. If you enjoy Yangyang’s design or need a strong Aero DPS, this debut is promising.

Luuk Herssen is a solid support/healer; his rerun may benefit players who missed him in 3.1. F2P players should weigh their Astrite reserves — the 4-star lineup (Danjin, Chixia, Aalto) all have niche uses, but none are meta-defining.
